Happy Canada Day

Happy Canada Day! I hope you had a great day and did something fun and interesting. I personally went to the harbourfront area and took a cruise on the Harbour Queen while watching the fireworks taking place at Bayfront Park. This was a great way to avoid the crowds and have a prime viewing spot for photos or just enjoyment of the occasion. It was an unusually chilly night but we braved the cold winds for a fun and different way to cruise.

I've done the daytime cruises on the Harbour Queen before. Stunning views and fresh lake breezes are so relaxing, but the evening cruise was lots of fun too and you could not have chosen a better view for the fireworks displays. I loved how the fireworks reflected on the water and that's just not something you can see from land. It's a completely different perspective.

The Hamilton Harbour Queen itself has been a mainstay at the Hamilton harbour since 2005, and in addition to lunch and dinner cruises it hosts regular dance parties and other special events. Upcoming special events during the rest of the summer include:

Saturday, July 13 from 10pm - 12am - 80s night dance party.
Friday, August 16 from 8pm - 11pm - “Rock’n the Harbour” Dance Party  Cruise with Rock’n Ray Michaels
Saturday, August 31, September 14 & 28 - Rock n' Roll Dance Party
